Aleaha Frederick, LPC-MHSP, NCC

Hey, I'm Aleaha Frederick! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider working at Wildflower Children's Counseling. I have a Bachelor of Education in Education Psychology and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. Following graduation, I’ve worked in Special Education, intensive in-home therapy services, community mental health services, and school-based mental health services. I have extensive experience in early childhood education and mental health.

I specialize in supporting children ages 3 to 18 as they navigate a variety of developmental and emotional challenges. I have expertise in working with clients with ADHD, life adjustment/ trauma-related disorders, anger management issues/disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and developmental delays. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where each child can thrive and grow. Through tailored therapeutic approaches, I aim to empower children and their families to overcome obstacles and build resilience, fostering a positive path toward emotional and developmental well-being.

My therapeutic approaches are client-centered, DBT, somatic work, play therapy, psychoeducation, TF-CBT, and IFS. I operate from a Trauma-Informed and strengths-based perspective. My work involves collaborating with clients and their families to identify internal resources, build upon strengths, improve communication, and develop new coping skills. I am passionate about my work as a therapist, and I'm deeply committed to empowering families to make positive changes in their lives.

Even though I am originally from Mississippi, I now consider Tennessee home. When I am away from the office, I enjoy traveling, attending music festivals and concerts, cooking, planning parties, participating in book clubs, and spending time with family and friends.
