What is a Pre-Licensed Clinician?

A pre-licensed clinician is a therapist practicing at the Master's level. They have completed graduate school and are actively pursuing their professional license which in the state of TN is a long and grueling process requiring hundreds of clinical hours and multiple state exams. These clinicians are required to maintain consistent supervision with a licensed provider in the field until they are fully licensed.

At WCC, our pre-licensed clinicians have been working in the field for a number of years and are required to have specialized experience with children and families.
